A wine produced in a sun-kissed special territory, with intense flavor and structured
Sangiovese grapes produced to become Le Cerrine of the Gentili Cellars are located on a steeply sloping knoll named Le Favorite in the Costa del Sole area in Cetona. This stretch of land fondled with such favorable names is cited as particularly suitable for the cultivation of vines as early as 1554 in a document related to the sale of the same land. The red wine with Controlled and Guaranteed Designation of Origin "Le Cerrine'' 2016 (D.O.C.G.) is special not only for the ancient history of its origin land, but also for its intense and structured flavor, so much that it has earned the Silver Medal of prestigious Decanter World Wine Awards 2020. Sangiovese grapes are harvested manually in the territory of Cetona. Intense ruby red and lively color. It shows with its smell fresh blackberry notes, cherries and spicy notes of black pepper and bushes traces.
