The Benedetta Corsi Agricultural Company is a female company where two sisters, Benedetta and Magda, grow fruit and vegetables; here they also produce cured meats, honey, extra virgin olive oil and jams at Km 0, taking care of the entire supply chain from cultivation to sale.
Benedetta's fondness is contagious as her passion for the territory: "I have chosen to cultivate products of our tradition such as the Aglione of Valdichiana Senese and the Mascina Plum Jam, both PAT, Traditional Food Products, because I am convinced that ours is a cultural resistance: the re-appropriation of one's own land following its vocation to the cultivation of healthy and genuine foods".
For Benedetta and her sister work is not only awareness and respect for the territory, it also consists in laughs: "Sometimes while working we can't even finish a sentence because from a random word we start singing ... and then we sing all morning" . The name of the Apecheronza Farm also comes from music, a clear homage to Sergio Endrigo's song "Le api" (Bees), a symbol of healthy agriculture based on respect for nature and its balance.
Respect for one's territory, a clear Tuscan spirit and love for tradition produce tasty jams and delicious sauces that enhance and dress up the recipes of poor peasant cuisine.
