Everest Apiculture is an organic beekeeping company that deals with the production of honey in the territory of Chianciano Terme. Bees for Claudio and Romana, the owners of the company, are a real treasure to be kept with care: all their commitment is dedicated to them, in a sector (the beekeeping one), which requires greater dedication through time due to the difficulties caused by climate change and the use of pesticides. Claudio and Romana, reserved people, know how to convey all their passion for their work with the simple opening of the jar. Honey speaks for them and for the bees, giving maximum emphasis to the flavors and aromas typical of the Valdichiana Senese countryside.
Apiculture Everest honey receives organic certification because it is obtained with procedures that comply with the regulations; all products come from local blooms located in organic farms. The varieties produced are: acacia, honeydew, chestnut, lime, French honeysuckle, bramble, clover, wildflower.
Now you may be wondering about the French honeysuckle. If you've been to Tuscany in spring you've certainly seen it, but you don't know it. Red flowers, indeed tending to purple, which fills the fields with this color between April and June and which often runs along the country roads. It gives honey a delicate and distinctive flavor.
