Cinta Senese pigs are the protagonists at the Madonna della Querce Farm in Montepulciano. Roberto and his family have built a large and beautiful enclosure that allows animals to live in a nearly-wild state, so curious visitors can discover something more of this autochthonous Sienese breed useful for the production of tasty Tuscan cured meats. A real tour inside the company, among olive trees and vineyards, surrounded by the classic Sienese hilly landscape to see how pigs are raised, starting from a natural and nutritious diet based on cereals, barley and corn from the surrounding countryside.
Roberto says: “I want to create an environment in my farm that allows the animals to live well and gives to our guests the opportunity to see how we raise our animals. We talk about our products, processing methods, and above all we do the most important test, tasting". And we suggest you to do so.
