The Terme di Chianciano is a spa complex in the heart of the Valdichiana Senese, surrounded by the greenery of the Acqua Santa and Fucoli Parks, a place where you can find your inner balance and exterior wellness thanks to the therapeutic power of the thermal waters. If at the moment we cannot afford a dip in the hot thermal waters, we can however use them to grant our body a home wellness ritual.
Dr. Silvia Barrucco explains us why she recommends drinking the Acqua Santa of Terme di Chianciano: "it aims to soothe all the typical ailments of the modern age, such as poor digestion, reflux, irritable colon especially associated with constipation". The beneficial properties of these mineral thermal waters, with a sparkling taste due to their richness in carbon dioxide, sulphates and bicarbonates, extend to the entire gastrointestinal tract for a complete purification.
To obtain a better result, Dr. Barrucco continues: "it is recommended to take it in a dose of about 200-300 ml, then one or two glasses, up to a maximum of 400 ml, in the morning on fasting before having breakfast. In this way, the water will have a purifying function for the liver, therefore it will improve hepato-biliary function and consequently digestion. The cycles with which the home therapies are performed with Acqua Santa di Chianciano are of 30-45 days interspersed with a month of rest ".
