The values of the territory, family and friendship come together at the Palazzo Vecchio Farm in particular in one product, the Vin Santo DOC.
"It all started with our first cellarman, whose surname was Brillo, I'm not kidding" telling this to us is Maria Luisa Sbernadori: "he brought a small barrel to the cellar and inside there was a liquor that for me, being a child then, was forbidden. Only once I grew up was I able to taste the result of his work and that of my family, who decided to dedicate a production of Grechetto and Malvasia Bianca to continue that production handed down from family to family. Brillo was for me the keeper of the barrels and I watched with fascination his constant and daily control of the work in the cellar, today I continue this story collaborating with my parents and my brother to carry on these and many other traditions ".
Palazzo Vecchio Farm is a company that extends over an area of over 90 hectares of land, of which 25 are vineyards planted with Nobile di Montepulciano, on the hill of Valiano, a hamlet of Montepulciano, halfway between the Renaissance village and the town of Cortona. From here the view is literally breathtaking and the Sbernadori family has decided to root in this magical place, as they were conquered by the beauty of the 1300s villa called "Palazzo Vecchio" and by the uniqueness of its always breezy climate and the red earth of its fields.
